They better not F it up by putting in a stereo! And ext. armrest, doorsills and strutbars are options like on all Subarus.

i guarantee there'll be lots of aftermarket spoilers for this car. i'll bet a cf spoiler will be available (for a very large sum of money).

i've had mine for a week. the only things i can think that i'd want "fixed" would be to make the shift light yellow; the red blends in with the red of the gauges in your peripheral vision. (i love the shift alarm; that is very cool.) color-coordinate the ventilation controls and clock with the rest of the displays. i'd like heated side mirrors. i'd also like the headlight elevation setting to show up on the instrument panel when i change it just like the instrument panel illumination level is displayed when i change it. and include some bloody mats!

As long as we are talking about what to change in the next model years i'll throw my ideas in. THE SEATS!!! Sweet jesus Subaru get us some real racing seats to go with our ballz handling Racing Car. Keep the blue/black pattern and change the STI from red to pink on the seats! O.k. next you gotta stiffen up that spoiler or add a nice CF one as a cheap option. Brake pads that are just as good that don't leave the wheels black after 3 days of city driving! Fix the bloody design of the gas intake so that pumps will friggin auto shut off(happened to me today)! Hell more power never hurt either!! Let the buyer have a choice of brake caliper colors(the mustard color they are now is ugly). And i want a BIG PINK BUTTON on the top of the shifter that makes jackasses who drive SUV's like retards spontaneously combust!!!! WORD!!

Oh and a Spec C would be super sweet!!!!

For crying out loud, the STi's on the streets now (and in my garage) were manufactured in March. It's only the first week of June. They don't have enough customer feedback to know what needs to be fixed.

Wing shake isn't that bad, IMHO. That's the pRICE of having a gigantic wing.

I'd like the wing to be optional so that I can add on any wing I want...I rather like this STi CF wing except for the stick trusses that hold it up, would rather have the supports from the 1st pic instead...and also paint the CF wing blue unless I got a black STi. I probably would leave a small circle unpainted so that you'd know it was CF.

Alot of the reasons you guys mentioned so far are why I'm waiting until '06 year at least

you're kidding me!!! i just checked the manual. it's kind of ambiguous. it says "if equipped". but it also shows a button with the caption "semi-automatic climate control" which we have. the mirrors on my outback have a defrost symbol etched on them, but ours don't. guess we need some foggy weather to test it. maybe i'll just put a kettle to boil and test it that way. <shrug>

Spec C is a stripped out version sold in japan only. it has never been officially sold out of japan. i guess u could say kinda like a race spec. i cant honestly see a true spec C coming out in the usa. as it has no airbags and is missing other safty things thats needed here in usa.

That carbon fiber wing is cool. I enquired about it before my car came in and I was told that it would fit the standard Sti holes, but after looking at the wing on the Sti and its connection to the trunk, I don't think so
