I created this account in order to (unfortunately) list my STi for sale. The reason for selling it is due to - you guessed it - an expanding family. Not even our Forester is big enough anymore. Time for an Ascent. Here's the rundown:

140,800 miles on chassis, trans.
~15,000 miles on rebuilt motor (built by Performance Subaru, New Orleans in 2012).

The bad:

1.) Some minor rust in wheel arch.
2.) Small (1") tear in driver's seat (right shoulder area).
3.) AC will not hold a charge.
4.) New front brake rotors warped.
5.) Rear brakes worn out.
6.) Engine likely needs an air/oil separator to stop oil from pushing out while under high pressure (according to engine builder).
7.) Window tint is bubbling in rear glass.

The good:
1.) All electronics work.
2.) Starts up every time without hesitation.
3.) Engine is strong.
4.) Overall, body is in good shape (minor dings), and interior is in great condition.
5.) I am the second owner of this STi, and have not driven it much since I bought it in 2011. Maintenance has been kept up. My father was the original owner. When the engine was pulled, the internals were in "like new condition" at ~125,000 miles, according to the builder.

Aftermarket parts (professionally installed by Performance Subaru):
-APR head studs.
-Wiseco forged pistons*
-Manley forged rods*

-ACT SS clutch
-Falken Ziex ZE912 (235/45ZR17) tires

-Protune by Cobb Tuning in Plano, TX (309 whp, 329 wtq @ 21 psi). Power comes on early in the revs.

* = Not 100% sure about brand. Engine builder supplied these parts.

Asking $14,000 obo. Located in southeast Louisiana. Shipping is open to discussion (I have not yet priced it).

Car is being sold as-is and with no warranty. I have listed every problem the car has that I am aware of, but please note that I do not drive the car much.
