Hey guys. I’m looking at starting a year long project of accounting for all 2004-2007 sti vin #s as well as it’s mileage, condition, etc to keep a log of these cars as they are now (and always have been) classics and very sought after. Does anyone know the vin sequence of these cars? Is there a way to figure out all of the vin #s? Someone did it on the 04 vw r32….. thanks

I am also interested in this and will see if there is an algo that we can write that will generate all the VINs.. I already have a web scraper that parses and saves auto listings from my time as a porsche hunter.

Byte 6: 7
Byte 7: 6
Byte 8: 6
Byte 9: Checksum with valid range [ 0 - 9 ]
Byte 10: Model year with GD ranges [ 4 -7 ]
Byte 11: L
Byte 12 - 17: Sequential production number. Varies annually.
