For sale is my 1998 2.5rs with a JDM Version 8 EJ207. I purchased the car from John2.5rs in May of 2012. I have used this as my weekend driver and occasional AutoX car and have truly enjoyed every minute of owning it. Priorities have changed and now I would like to pass the car on to another enthusiast to enjoy.

Since ownership I removed the ECUTECK in exchange for an open source tune from MPS Dom. This also allowed the vehicle to pass WA state OBDII smog. The wheel bearings were on there way out so I opted to upgrade to 5x114.3 hubs and STi brembos (yes the rotora's have been removed and sold). Inverted BC coilovers(GC Type with 5x114.3 brackets), TSS fab adjustable lateral links, WL Roll center adjusters, Powdercoated STi brembos Whiteline 27-29mm FSB. OEM painted headlights and brand new JDM tails. The GramLights 57 Dragon full Ti exhaust was also added.

The timing belt, water pump and all idler pulleys were replaced when the cluster said 109,xxx km. Oil changes were performed every 6 months or less as I never reached more than 3,000 miles in that time period. Spark plugs were changed at 110,xxx km.

From John: "Cross weight was 50.8&37; and front to rear was 61/39 F/R - Total weight 2697 lbs w/o driver and a full tank of gas. Currently running a GDB rear subframe (It has solid Chassis mounts) and Turbo GC front subframe. Chassis had 73k on the Title when I re-built it. I installed a used JDM cluster (With 69,xxx on the cluster) when I installed the swap; now it's @ 103k KM. the Drivetrain had 5,500 KM (approx 3400 miles) on it when I first got it back in '07. Runs better today than the day I first built it!" Currently it has 112,830Km on that cluster which would put the drivetrain miles around 30k +-!

Harnesses are out of date

Spare parts that may be included pending negotiation:

GC8 door cards with blue alcantara inserts

B*magic rear wide body quarter panels to match the front

This car cannot be financed with a traditional auto loan.

This won't pass CA smog.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I may have missed a few things.

I would be happy to drop this off at a reputable shop for them to perform a PPI at your expense.
