14k sounds a little steep. how many miles?? any rebuilds? will it pass smog? make them pass smog check for you before you buy it, the smog cert is good for 30 days to transfer ownership. does it by any chance have the lic plate mr2die4?? saw that one for sale. looked good. yahoo has so cal chap of IMOC. check that out too. ask ?'s there. you'll get good response.
