Hi guys,
I have a '11 WRX base, and I have winter rubber on the stock rims. I still have the OEM summer rubber that I'm trying to get a set of wheels for. Anyway, I'm leaning towards Enkei RPF1s, and I found a good deal for new 17x7.5 size for $750. That's about $200 cheaper than the 17x8s from the same shop.
So my question is this - am I losing anything by going to a smaller width? I think the OEM summer rubber would fit (235/45 17) but I don't want to be suckered in to a bad size b/c I'm a noob and I don't know any better. Oh, this is a DD, so no track time, etc.
Thanks!
