I would recommend

1. Manley Turbo Tuffs rods
2. ARP Age 625 studs
3. ID1300cc injectors
4. ACT 6puck clutch
5. KillerB oil pickup, air pump delete, etc


Hopefully the shop offers a warranty on top of all that :tup:

Thanks a lot, been on this site a lot admiring the builds on here, only just got around to making my own journal.

I want to do this properly and avoid another blown motor if possible.:D So i try and steer towards the quality parts.

Does anyone else here have the HKS SuperTurbo Exhaust, will it be restrictive for a high power application? I have been told I will need a 3.5" Custom Exhaust to make the most power. Comments appreciated. Thanks!

Car going in for 2nd stage of build next week, will be at the tuners for 3 weeks, cant wait to see the results!

Car goes on the Dynapack Dyno @ E&H motors at the end of the week, looking forward to see the numbers this makes! Looking for around 530hp atw, with the Exhaust and the Factory ECU being the limiting factors.

I have also installed Whiteline Front and Rear sway bars, so looking forward to the improved handling!

Get whiteline antilift kit and upgraded motor/tranny/pitch stop at the very least for those power levels

at this stage....yes, Bad idea? Getting the power side sorted first. I've got some Second Hand Tein N1 coilovers avalible for a really good price.

Get whiteline antilift kit and upgraded motor/tranny/pitch stop at the very least for those power levels
i will look into the anti lift kit, it has upgraded pitch stop. The engine setup was built with at least these power levels in mind, Tuning shop is copying off their Rallycross / Gymkhana car.

at this stage....yes, Bad idea? Getting the power side sorted first. I've got some Second Hand Tein N1 coilovers avalible for a really good price.

You will NEED coilovers to keep your car flat at that much power, you're going to have nightmare of a body roll and lift on stock struts/springs. I had a bad time with 330whp on stock struts and yellow springs when it came to how much the car squatted.

Get something good and that you like, you'll thank yourself later on :)

Thanks for the advice! I definitely plan to get coil-overs in the near future, just trying to space out the modifications so my bank doesn't moan!

Been a week delay on getting the car on the dyno, car confirmed on the dyno on Thursday, would rather not rush the process and get it done to the highest standard possible! Looking forward to the numbers... :D
