that's why i really want to know if the fog on 08~10 will fit under 11's without problem... even i had to buy all new ones, still good to know if i needed those parts ... just waiting for smoeone to confirm it

Yes the foglights are the same. I checked. the surrounds and whatnot are different but the lights themselves are the same. No I don't mean just the bulbs. The actual foglight assy.

So I can just buy the bumper with the fog front fog covers , there isn't any special brackets or anything?

yea i was looking at my friends 08 sti and noticed he has a projector style fog light while mine is some gay bulb deal . . . . .

i would really like to throw on a set of those fogs with a nice HID set up, more info on a bracket or something to make it fit perfectly would be greatly appreciated

Yes, you can. And if you want the front fog surrounds for the 11 bumper I have some you can buy. I don't want fogs and have the delete panels in now instead.

did the bumper come painted or no? i checked at my local dealer and they said the bumper was $230. didn't check the grill price. i really like the front but i just got the bottomline kit so i guess i'll wait till a nice lip comes out for it.

no, you will need the foglight setup or the fog light delete covers and the tow hook cover as well.

btw the foglight cover deletes are on crazy backorder....i ordered one of the first sets and it took about 7 weeks to get it in.

So since the front of the two years are a little bit different are the rear of the cars different too or are they the same as the 08-2010. i just ordered a 2011 so im kinda wondering about the rear of the two styles anyone have a picture or can get one???

Hey guys, I just pulled the trigger and bought the 11 front end. I decided to stick with the 08 fender liners, reason price tag was already at $729.11 shipped to so cal. The front cover is real scares. Subaru warehouse (excuse my sp) just release 6 yesterday from Portland. So the process I did was went on subies lot and found '11 sti. Then I wrote down the vin, walked into the parts dept. And asked for the parts, cause you know they are going to ask you your vin. #.

The reason the two fog light part #'s are different is b/c I want a fog light bezel on the right side for a air intake port. When ordering you need to specify that you do or don't want the fog light hole. The last # is for a fog light. Hope I did not confuse you guy's too much. Should be going into the paint booth next wk some time. Will post pics when done.:tup:

yours is an sti or wrx? Wish i saw that sooner, already paid in full since it was a special order. What were you thinking on ? I will have an 08 bumper and grill for sale soon bumper is a little scrapped and 3 lower mounts on the bottom broke which would not affect its hold and comes with a diy front garage weather stripping lip.
