Hi everybody, this is my first time posting anything so please excuse me if i say something stupid

I drive a 98 civic right now but i bought my car used, so i'm very excited about getting the sti because it will be my first brand new car. Since i'm a rookie at buying cars, i hope you guys can answer a question that has been bothering me for a while now.

I've been reading alot about the sti and some websites say that the sti comes with certain things and other websites say the opposite. What i wanna know is this: if subaru decides not to put a option in it (for an example - heated side view mirrors) is there anything that i can do to get my car with that option anyway. I know that you can always get things done to the car after you get it but i would really want it to come straight from japan just the way i would like it.

At the suburu dealership that i'm getting my sti from i'm the third person on line to get it. The only question the dealer asked me was, what color did i want. The dealer told me that as soon as they get more information about options that they would call me to ask me what options i wanted.

IF subaru decides not to put heated side view mirrors, there has to be someone that i can call or write to, so that my car comes with it, right???

I appreciate any help you guys can give, thanks :p

Dude, dont feel bad, I am driving a 98 Zx2 (hence the user name) and the STi will be my first 'new' car as well.

As far as I am concerned, I have no problem with having no options to choose. Besides a stereo, the STi already is packed with everything I want. Compare what you get in the STi standard with what you get in other cars as options. Do heated side view mirrors really matter then?

There isn't much that will change my mind on the STi besides a >35000 price tag.
