I wonder why my oil level read different. When it cold sit for overnight the oil level is little bit above the middle between the full and low. (Maybe is cold out? Houston drop to 40 f days ago) When shut off for 30 mins after 10 miles driving, the oil level is right on full mark. Which one is...
Took out the tranny to put a new clutch in and now the car won't go in reverse.
The transmission shop replaced the transmission and 2 days later reverse stopped working again..
I believe it's the linkage but I want to hear someone else's thoughts.. Already 4k in the hole on this one.
I know is kind dumb question… just want to make sure and get to know ej better. I’ve done couple times downshift 6 to 4 and accelerate in 4th around 2800-3000 in highway 50 mph. Boost around 6-7 psi is count as engine lugging or just fine?
So I have a 5 speed manual transmission from the Japanese GC8 coupe STI in the USA and I’m wondering are they “glass” like the WRX 5 speed? Or all 5 speed are glass and I need to do a 6 speed conversion if i want to do around 300hp range
