yeah that sucks.

I wouldn't get them painted, you should get some sort of price break due to the mix up if you were to wait till december.

you'll be much happier with the right color, and it'll be worth the wait

but why pay extra for someone elses mixup?

plus they'll never match the volk color.

Well it's not the Vendor's fault, Rays messed it up; they admitted it.
But they said they won't repaint them. So i'm not sure who i can hold liable for this mistake.

Nah, they're at a warehouse in Japan.

I decided i'm not going to take the bronze rims, and i'm getting a full refund (50% deposit). I'll be looking to buy elsewhere, or maybe even a different rim.

A little upset right now, but hey, **** happens.

Anyone know where i can get this centre cap? The shop i'm planning to buy from said Rays don't manufacture these anymore.

they most certainly do make those...every one of the new colors for this year has them (ti gunmetal, Time Attacks)

Also of note, they discontinued the LE series of wheels now

Thanks for that, i'm enquiring with the shop now. Are these caps available for purchase by themselves?

I've just placed an order again, with a different shop, for the
Ti-gunmetal CE28N. Another 3 months to wait

Hopefully it goes OK this time round.

that cap comes with Titanium Gunmetal CE . When you do a special order color on a CE, as Ti GM is, that cap is included (at least here in the US)

I was told again these caps don't come with the CE's. I guess it's just for the US market.

Anyone know where i can buy them alone? I want the cap with the red lining, as pictured above.

Still can't find these caps. I found a place that will get some next month supposedly, but i'm not 100% on that.

Try http://www.aspecproducts.com/, he carries alot of Volk wheels. But its gonna be hard to get these because they come with the limited edition wheels. So most wheel retailers wont just give you the caps.

Didn't want to start another thread, but...

I got my centre caps today, and they just slide in, right? The cap has two rubber bands around the ring, i assume you just pop them into the centre of the wheel? 3 of them seem pretty tight, one cap you can still rotate around.

Is there a difference between gunmetal and titanium gunmetal?!
Or are they all the same for the CE28Ns?

Whoever started this thread made me change my order from bronze CE28Ns to gunmetal. I kept looking at the pic of the OP and couldn't resist getting the same wheel.
