anyone tried to make the rear spats for the 04 sti fit on an 05+ bumper? Having trouble finding rear spats for an 05+ bumper..... personally i like the look of the 04 spat more.. any help is appreciated.. happy new year!

04 sti and 05sti have different rear bumpers. On the 04 the bumper curves inward while the 05+ rear has a section that curves out.

Yeah I'll post a link when I get home. Almost every site ive looked at say it's for 05+. 04 sti n wrx are the same iirc.

1) The thread was made January of this year; it's not that long ago. It can be bumped if there's no solution or to add additional info.

3) You decide to call someone out about putting splats on a 05 when it is actually relevant to this thread.

i mean, i wasn't "calling anyone out"...i asked in a very neutral way (even adding "haha" to make it clear i'm NOT looking to call anyone out) since he quoted my post about putting 05 spats on 04 sti when in fact he had an 05 sti. not a big deal man sorry if i hijacked anyones thread.
