Weighted Shift Knob that does not get hot?

I'm looking for a weighted shift knob that does not get insanely hot during the hot months. I live in Dubai and temeratures here in the summer are crazy. Are there any heavy shift knobs out there between say 300 and 500 grams that you could recommend or have experience with?
Thanks

"The top and bottom halves of the knob are acetal copolymer which is wonderful for resisting heat and cold so it NEVER hurts your hand at any temperature. The bottom half of the knob is made from solid stainless steel which is extremely heavy and looks amazing. The central ring is also stainless steel. The combination of these two materials yields a knob that can be held in any temperature, but also has a heavy weight for solid shift feedback."

Metal knobs don't get any hotter than anything else in your car, they just feel hotter because they transfer heat so much better and often have more mass (stored heat).
You may want to go custom, get a heavy knob and have it leather wrapped. The leather will keep the heat from transferring to your hand.

Tobi, get a tint buddy. There's no getting away from that in Dubs. Get a proper one (not from Sharjah lol) that does a good a good job of keeping the heat out.

I got mine done at Fibra Foil. While it was pretty expensive ($400), it was totally worth it

I fully commiserate with the OP on this. A friend of mine used to have an s2k with a titanium knob, and that thing was ready to set your hand on fire if you parked in the Texas summer sun for more than an hour.

Has anyone looked into getting their metal shift knob ceramic coated?
We put ceramic on our turbos, exhausts and even window tint to control heat, so why not the shift knob? Though I agree with kahoona that a good heat-blocking window tint might solve most of the issue. I felt like a bug under a magnifying glass this summer until my windows got tinted.

Thanks all for the input. I found a solution to the problem. In addition to the tint which I will definitely get before next summer I will just put a falcon hood on the knob :) Should do the trick. Done it before on other cars just for the look did't occur to me until not that the leather should be a decent buffer. If it does get too hot still I'll just put the stocker back on for the hot months.
