Terry: I recognize your frustration, and while everything you said in your message may well have been entirely accurate, such things accomplish nothing but things like this (I went and found it on YouTube). You've already admitted it as a mistake. Lesson learned. Sadly, as someone who depends on enthusiast business - however much of it comes from this particular forum - you just have to set your jaw and nod. Escalating a pissing match only ends with everyone standing in a big puddle of piss. There's no pleasing some people.
Take all of that for what it's worth. I've seen these kinds of things on multiple forums for multiple different makes and models, and Hell, I've gotten involved to try to resolve them in a few cases. Inevitably I've regretted ever saying anything. I only said anything here to try and head off this :bs: before it became a 50 page leviathan of fail. Looks like I'll have another regret to add to the cache.
Agreed. I can't ever truly "win" in some of these situations. Any customer that feels wronged in whatever way can speak badly of us on 100 forums, whether true or not, and in the end, its their word against ours. Someone can even post recorded phone conversations or upload "instructional videos" of parts being installed incorrectly, too. I would have hoped that when a forum finds out that something is incorrect they would put a stop to it there, at least, but sometimes these folks are just left to their own devices.
Its obvious that this thread is not about this customer getting his money back, its about trying to hurt our company. This thread isn't going to go anywhere other than his full refund - but it will likely continue to spiral into the abyss until he runs out of steam.
Mr. Adamopoulos - you can send all of the parts back for a refund. That's the best you're going get here. Or you can keep tilting at windmills and get nothing for all of your efforts.
That's all I have to say on this matter. This is the last post I will make in this thread in reference to Emmanuel Adamopoulos and his claims. We hope to see all of the parts from his RMA arrive, and I wish him the best of luck with his new parts suppliers.
Thanks,
