I just purchased a brand new 2007 WRX STI with 50 miles on it last one on the lot, this week its black and I just love it..Much different than my previous car 2006 Lexus LS430 lol. Anyways my wife hates it, she says its a kids car. I am 28 and I know I am not a kid but also know that I am not too old for a Sub..

I would like to see what the average owners of these car are? Also, if you have any kids let me know too. (I have 3 kids)

Thanks ..

My STI saved my life and my 2 kids lives as well when some asshat decided to run a redlight and broadside us on the drivers side at ~50 mph. We walked away with mostly cuts from the glass shatter and bruises from the impact energy..... Subaru = Great Safety. I bought the car when I was 28 and now I am the big 30

BTW the Statistician in me wants to tell you that you have an inaccurate polling method because you are crossing two catergories....the poll should be 18-25 26-30 31-35. you cant have the same option in two different polling catergories. That is why it is statisically incorrect.

:yeahthat:

I'm 30 too and my wife is always razzing me because of the rear wing. I had an RX8 before this and a corrola before that so it's nice to be moving up the food chain. I have car seats in the back for the two kids. All I can say is that they'r on my side. They'll take a ride in the STi over the wife's Odyssy any day of the week :)

I am 25, bought it when i was 23. As long as you are a car enthusiast i don't think age should matter. I have gotten a lot of complements about the car from older guys and when i inquire as to their reason for not purchasing one its usually: "Oh i got kids now", or "i need something more practical" or "wife wont like it". I feel like these are all sorry excuses since STi is a sedan and a perfectly capable DD.

Definitely huge props for "non stereotypical age" guys like Gary, MPower and skghori for not falling into "i am too old for this" stigma!

44, Midlife (now that the kids are grown I can afford it) crisis.
I can still keep up just not as long.

I mean driving of course.
