well, i know it's "kinda" normal to make noise when it's wet but my driverside makes this nasty noise when it goes down even when it's dry. anyone else have this problem? any solution? all the other windows are ok but it's just the drivers side 
does your window make screetching noise when it goes down?

definitely a known problem with Subaru. I had it on my 05, no tint. took it to the dealership and all they did was apply some lithium grease then told me to come back if it happens again.

My 06 did this, so far it hasnt happened in the 07 yet, but i suppose that will change in the upcomming months, like someone said, i sorta like the noise, it does give it character

Would you rather have this or have framed doors? I only close/open my doors when my windows are fully up or fully down. I don't want to put any unnecessary stress on them by pushing on the windows when they are partially lowered. I love the frameless doors on the Imprezas.... but they just had to go and change ithaasSTI said:

Yeah, eXstasy - I freaking *love* the frameless doors on our car... I've always felt it was such a nice touch. Call me crazy, but I actually prefer our frameless doors over my friend's 3-series coupe... those doors are so heavy and big, the glass always seems so floppy.
