Does the Access Port remove the top speed limiter?

I dont know , but i know my friend hit 158 stock... and i dont know what the point is of going much fasterthen that since you wouldnt be able to read it without a gps setup of some sort.

158 stock?????? Not really...147 is stock... (due to limiter)

My speedo indicated ~155 mph stock when the speed limiter kicked in (which is 147mph when you adjust for the speedo being off). I am now Cobb AP Stage 1 and the speed limiter still kicks in at the same place, an indicated 155.

mine also hit around 155, no idea how off of true speed that is, but it felt pretty damn fast, and of ocurse, the howling was amusing,

At the track I would hit 130mph indicated on my speedo. At the same time howerver, my nagivation unit was reading at about 125mph. I have found that my sti is roughly 3-5mph high verses what I am actuallying doing.

It seems like the speed limiter would run off the speedometer because if the ECU could limit speed through a more accurate way, well then why dosent our speedo utilize it?

I have gone well over 160 stock.... several times.... The speedo was at its limit but the car felt like it could easily keep going... odd....

haha..I should have stated the actual speed id 147, not like the indicated 155+ shows...but yes, I would like the video!!!
