Thumbs up MrRichter's '07 WRX Limited

What's up everyone? My name's Ryan, I decided to make a journal after looking through my intro thread and realizing it pretty much was a journal. I'm from South Dakota.....

UPDATE:
Got a teaching job at Lake Preston School District in Lake Preston, SD. First big boy job and I can't say enough about how much I'm enjoying it so far. Despite being overworked and underpaid, I love teaching. Working with young individuals and seeing them progress through their education is one of the most rewarding experiences ever.

BIG UPDATE: (7/28/13)
A while back, I was searching for a WRX in the area to trade my 2.5i in for as a birthday gift. It just so happens I found one in Sioux Falls, about an hour from where I live. I called them about it, they said they were having a sale, so I went down the day after my birthday, test drove it, got the financing worked out and drove home with a new car.

It is a 2007 WRX limited, has 76,000 miles, all of the limited options, an SPT intake, and an STi axleback. Other than that the car appears to be stock. It has been well taken care of and recently had the head gasket and timing belt replaced, which I needed to do on my car anyways. Needless to say I am glad to be in a turbo and am loving every minute of it.

When I first got it:

Yeah I remember when that happened. My roommates and I were on our way back from the casino and it was raining like cats and dogs. I was driving through a construction zone and I see this thing hopping across the road like Frogger. I had just recently installed my lip so of course the thought of "could he get caught in there?" popped right in to my head. Check my lip the next morning and sure enough, he was wedged in there tight. I wish I would have taken a picture of his face because it was priceless; mouth open wide, tongue sticking out like he was in shock haha.

No plans for an STi in the near future, that's a few years down the road. I'm graduating from college in May and either going to grad-school or finding a job so the future is up in the air. Right now, I just need this thing running as well as it can, I'm student teaching this coming semester and I have to commute 90 miles each day. Just recently had the 90,000 mile service done so it should be good to go for a while. Once I get a job and my own place with a garage I'll be able to do maintenance stuff on my own and save some money for mods.

Wow! That's a lot of commuting for a college student! I assume you're an engineering student?

I was an engineering student my first 2 years but switched to history-education so I could coach and teach. Sports have always been a big part of my life and I wanted that to continue after college. The 90 mile commute each day will be to the school I am student-teaching at. Should be interesting, luckily we've had a mild winter so far.

After waking up to that, I seriously contemplating wrapping my far in either flat black or matte black, would look sick.
