Re: 2012 Subaru STi (FWDSUK)

How's your alignment with you being that low? I'm getting coils soon and that looks like a good height.
The alignment is good. I believe its running -1 in the rear and in the front. But depending on your wheel size be ready to roll your fenders.

For each his own, stickers are up to you! :)

Love the stance, I hope she drives well. Stage 2 is hell a lot of fun, anything past it becomes too much for a DD
Yah im lovin it soo far. Has the perfect amount of power to get me from point A to B. Thanks!

Yeah man, I've been there off and on since '07. I'm moving to Va at the end of the month and debating on using them as my shop again or using a Subaru specific like IAG or Andrewtech.
Your car looks great by the way. Did you get aligned at PTuning as well?

Yup. i did the alignment at ptuning. I rolled the rear fenders at IAG. both really great places.

Re: 2012 Subaru STi (FWDSUK)

do you like the cobb bov thinking of getting one?? oh and did it void warranty??
I got the cobb bov because when i went stage 2 my tuner said my stock bov will start to leak. As far as warranty goes. Nothing will void your warranty until that aftermarket part effects something else. FOR EXAMPLE: if you get a bigger turbo and your motor blows... subaru wont cover it because your aftermarket part did the damage. But yah the bov is nice. I cant really hear it because of the Cobb sf intake is loud lol

Re: 2012 Subaru STi (FWDSUK)

Nice ride btw. I do hate to burst your bubble just flashing it with an AP just at stg1 for example voided the Warranty. I knowingly did it but I don't care. If the dealership you take it to is strict for warranty repairs your warranty is done.

Re: 480whp STi Build (FWDSUK)

So sick  I wouldn't trust any other shop out there other than IAG to do extensive work on the car :D

Thanks man!! the wait is excruciating but it will be worth it. :D

Car looks great, while its at IAG you should have them debadge the rear except for the STI logo, too much going on back there with decals.
Yah ill definitely do that on my own. I have a detail kit and a few tools to remove all that. Thanks man

Re: 470whp Varis STi Build (FWDSUK)

Nice ride sir :)

Noticed you have the HT Auto rear diffuser.

Am thinking of getting one myself.

Now that you have had it awhile, what are your thoughts on then piece?

Are you satisfied with the quality/look? How has it lasted over time?

If you could post some closer pics of the diffuser that would be awesome :)

Build quality is nice on it. I went with a single exit exhaust so if you have a quad it'll look a little better. I did hydro dip it in carbon fiber so thats why it has that glossy look. When you buy it from HT Autos, it will come in this flat black look. I love it and never had fear of breaking it. The only problem i had was it collects little rocks inside of the diffuser.

Heres a few pictures of the diffuser.

Awesome. Thank you for the feedback and additional pics.

I like what you did hydro dipping it in carbon fiber, whatever that means lol
(I will look into that, never heard of it before)

Was thinking about getting it painted obp to match; what you did, however, gives it a nice look.

How much did hydro dipping it cost you?

I know getting it painted to match will likely cost around $200

I paid i think around $120 for the hydro dip. Painting in my opinion will probably cheaper.
