Default My 2011 STI Sedan Wheels: You Vote!

Car: SWP 2011 STI Sedan Limited
- Suspension: RCE Yellow Springs

Wheel Size:
- I'm looking to run 18x9 or 18.9.5, if necessary 18x8.5 but I'd prefer to have the wheel stick out a bit more than stock (this is one of my goals). - I'm trying my best not to have to roll the fenders.

Color: Either gold or bronze, since my stocker BBS are gunmetal/hyperblack

Budget: most of the Rotas I'm looking at come in at under 800-900. I could get up to 1,200-1,300, say for some Works. But I don't see myself getting into Advan 2k+ range.

I'm going to post a few pictures of my car. Then I'm going to post some of the wheel options (remember, in my Budget), with a picture of the wheel on a car as best I can find.

Please just shoot back which one you vote for! You can add some additional wheel suggestions, but I'd prefer mainly to keep it to the ones on here to keep it simpler for my brain.

Thanks for your input! (Thanks in advance to Wheel Dude as I'm referencing some of your pictures)

Wheels:
Rota Gravel: 18x8.5 e44; my only choice is 18.5...

Gravel pic on someone's WRX hatch:

Rota G Force (Advan RS replica): 18x8.5 e48

Someone's wrx sedan:

Same wheel but in 18x9 e30 (fender roll heaven)...

Someone's white sedan:

Rota Grid 18x9.5 e38 rubbage, yes? fender rollage, yes?

On blue white WRX sedan:

Same, but in gold:

Otherwise the Grids come in 18x8.5 e44 which would fit perfectly, but not look quite as cool, but cool enough:

Rota DPT 18x9.5 e44 (dual drilled unfortunately, but so far my only 9.5" option).. I don't really prefer the look of the DPT to the others though.

On Blue STI Hatch:

Or DPT 18x9.5 e44 flat black:

DPT 18x9.5 e44 in gold:

Same on a wrx sedan:

They also have a 18x8.5 e44 DPT in this gold with polished lip, a bit flashy maybe, but pretty:

Work Emotion 18x8.5 e43 or 18x9.5 e 38 (some rolling I believe?). Most expensive, probably like 1500 or so a set.

Okay, that's a start. Please vote and be realistic. Thanks!!

I was always a huge fan of gold on white, but I have to say I've been leaning more towards gunmetal on white now. I'm biased though:

I do like the DPT or Works though so that would be my vote of the wheels you posted.

Yeah, I'm happy for anyone to think about what the above wheel options would like like in gunmetal- the idea more though is just for the actual styling, ya know? Here's a picture of the Rota G Force in guntmetal, for instance:

I'm just looking for a second set of wheels that look nice to alternate. And don't want to drop 2k plus. I think these options do a good job of meeting that goal. Thx for your input though.

The works look amazing, but i agree with the gunmetal color regardless of style. BUT that would only be if that was my only set. Being that you are keeping the stockers, go wild on the alternate

Also, try to think about what the wheels will look like on my car specifically... I really like the Rota G force (advan RS) but when I try to visualize them on my car I'm left confused.

I have the same exact car/color on order as you, I am thinking of doing white on white.

Looks like this site has Rota Torque (work cr) in 18x9.5 e48. Never saw this before. Hmm

I'd go for the work emotion, gunmetal on white is aggressive.
