I know. I'm going to be renting a car for a little bit, and maybe getting my other car back on it's feet. (I.e. the car I gave up on, and got the Subaru because of)

Picking up the car today.

What break-in oil are you going with? I'm torn between Brad Penn and Driven (Joe Gibs) right now

Good question, I haven't thought that far ahead just yet. I think my buddy used Joe Gibbs on his LSx, He made over 1000RWHP, so I guess it worked well... haha

I think in the paper work that came with the block, they mentioned anyone of those was ok, and I think Motul had an option listed too.

IAG had me use Royal Purple break-in oil with changes at 800, 1600, and 3200 miles I actually then ran Castrol 5w30 dino oil until 10k before switching to synthetic. It's probably just old fashion approach based on the belief that dino oil is more conducive for better ringland seal through friction since it doesn't lubricate as well as synthetic

They told me Royal Purple was ok, along with Motul, Brad Penn, and Joe Gibbs. I have a few friends that had some not so good (motor=paperweight) results from using Royal Purple so that's why I am staying away from it lol.

Do you know if they finish the cylinder hone with a rough or plateau finish? I forgot to ask them yesterday!

No need for speed density and you need better IAT sensor.

Regarding turbo, you'll just need to check the banjo fittings as they have screens to catch debris. Then, get the 5 point socket from company 23 and strip down/clean the cam gears.

Perfect! Thankyou - I was nervous about the gears too, going to order the tool up soon.

Also, Car is still at dealer. SOA said they wanted to ensure a positive outcome. I will have an answer by Tuesday.
