I want to remember reading somewhere in one of the threads here that up to 220 was to be expected/ acceptable. Sounds like 210 is closer to the limit based on what you were told?

Can you remember the model number of the blanket you have? I am thinking it should fit the dom 3 just as well it it is a good fit on yours? And you are running an EWG, right? I am not seeing a direct comparison to any blouch turbos on their site, although the ATP GT30/35 EWG one should probably be a good fit as well I would think.

I'm running IWG 10CM^2 housing.

PN: PTP FPRO35-009-07

Not cheap, but I have no regrets at all. Install is cake with the TMIC off, although some people have done it with out pulling it. I prefer to not put myself into that kind of situation

Right now I'm between 178 and 194 with IATs of 4 above ambient on cruise and up to 20 above on WOT rips.

You run an aftermarket radiator?

I think the highest I've seen is 199 in the past year (Winter months, obviously), but that was sitting still. As soon as I start moving it drops pretty quick.

That 209 was in traffic sitting perfectly still. Yes, run a Mishimoto radiator. Temps were fine when moving.

My tuner told me that. So it may be different, but as most people do. They listen to what their tuner suggests. Haha, so that's what I'll do. He said if it hits 210 and you don't hear fans somethings wrong. And if it hits 210 and you hear fans back off, unless you're stopped then something might be wrong. I have a Mishimoto radiator so I can't imagine running hotter than that with fans on.

Yea, my 196 was sitting still. I run a mishimoto radiator, I also have a Mishimoto oil cooler that is going on at the next oil change.

I will not comment on Subaru engines, since they are under designed garbage, but generally speaking most modern engines can easily handle higher temperatures. Most are doing 210F as standard, for fuel economy. You're typically only worried about boiling so pressure and coolant type will be important.
