I found out, recently as well, that the header doesn't allow much room in that area :-/

Tried to run the larger purolator filter that IAG sells.

Chris from Killer B told the guys at Infamous Performance that the header is designed around the stock oil filter.

I can tell you, it was some pretty tense moments because I never thought to check and I had the oil filter on when we did the header OOPS

Yup. It was disappointing to have to remove the Mishimoto oil cooler. I'm looking into alternatives to oil cooling without having to stack something in between the oil filter.

Does this mean the Mishimoto sandwich plate for oil pres/temp senders wouldn't fit either? It's about an inch thick.

Correct. The header was designed around the Subaru blue oil filters. You would have to remove the OEM oil cooler and plug the coolant lines to use the sandwich.

Good to know. I wasn't planning to leave the senders there forever. I've always wanted to eventually tap temp to the oil pan and pressure behind the alternator once I get the Killer B oil pan. I guess I'll be doing headers/oil pan at the same time which isn't a bad idea.
