Ah, so just up here for the holidays then? Well enjoy your effing Summer when you go back down under! Hope you had a chance to check out the track. Not even sure if it would be open to spectators or anyone really given the time of year.

Have confirmed my order of the Rallytech reverse scoop, will hopefully receive this month, will be interested in what it does for cooling. Change from coolant to water/Mo-Cool/ additional ducting to come & need stronger/larger intercooler to throttle body clamps.

Since my tyres are destroyed and not really drive-able im looking to purchase some in the next few weeks, I have decided on the 265/35R18 size, just need to make a decision on the brand/type.

My top choice currently is the Yokohama Neova AD08R, as they are readily available in NZ although quite pricy, but similar performance to RE71R

I would really like to try the RE71R's but no one sells them in New Zealand, and dont really want to import 2 sets (To safeguard in case i pop or destroy tyres)

The other cheaper option would be the Star Spec Z2, (I see the Z3 is out in Japan) although not in the same league as above.

Have as few things to sort out personally, then i might finally do coilovers (just for Idin )

RE71R are the most amazing tires I've had. I've since switched to the MPSS considering I now do mostly dailying activities with the car.

I think you're on right mindset though. I would certainly not order or import them if you can't have them ready in hand within a couple days to a week. It wouldn't be worth the headach.

A set of 4 AD08R 265's have been ordered and expected to arrive tomorrow. Funny its almost $150 cheaper to order the tyres via airfreight from Demon Tweeks, however though id support my local guy for now.

Finally made the leap and purchased some coilovers. Hopefully they should arrive within a month This combined with some cooling mods should make for some good track times.

Received my Rallytech Uk reverse scoop today, did a little test fit, however it does not have any fixing places on it, so I think the plan would be to try a super strong glue and maybe a few rivets to keep it in place, and cut out the metal under the scoop to help it flow to its full potential. Will leave the block off plate in place to try direct air up through the scoop. Awaiting some advice from Rallytech before I proceed. 🤙🏼
