Have fun, post a linky with the live timing and/or footage for our viewing pleasure.

Try using your missus hairspray on the pipe work for a quick fix, I found it helped stop my hoses from blowing off.

Default '08 JDM Sti - NZ Superlap R1 Fastest Lap Video Up

Video of my fastest lap of the weekend below with a nice little slide mid lap, battling water temp, melted tyres and learning the track over the weekend, heaps to improve on for both the car and driver! Overall a successful and fun weekend! Seeing flames in my rear vision mirror at 220kmh along the main straight was another awesome experience hopefully someone got some good shots. Will get a more detailed update once the full results come out.

That slide was a lift off oversteer it seems. Deliberate or you were worried about the elevation change?

I guess it started to slide so i let off and it made it worse lol, i tend to prefer oversteer, but there was plenty of room for a bit of bulldozing. also tyres were pretty stuffed by this stage.

Yeah it does sound better, as ridiculous as the exhaust looks its probably better sticking out further, as i was shooting huge flames all weekend.

As high as it would go, Yellow on the left hand side of the tablet is the 7200 i think (I dont have my tablet to check). The rev limit is set at 8,100, depending on charge/engine temp and oil pressure with a maximum cutoff at 8,300, the logs showed a maximum of 8,131rpm on one of the sessions, i'm bad at over revving on downshifts though and not using enough brakes.

Was on high boost, hitting 29psi, so i dont know, should have been at least mid 400whp would have been pulling a bit of timing because it was so hot, water/engine temp was around 105 c, in comparison a 900hp GTR was getting 260kmh up the main straight, i was at about 225kmh.

You just need proper suspension and non-bald tires. ;-)

Official results, 2nd Street 4WD, 4th Street King, 21st Overall, I need 5s to catch the Supra. Be interesting what my times at by the next round at this track, with some improvements I have planned, can’t wait, will have to do a track day before the next round.
