Build path has been updated. Thoughts?

I am in between the Process West and Grimspeed TMIC. I am leaning towards Process West because of the size difference, but I am hesitant because I read about fitting issues with front sways.

Joebie - I also borrowed your template for your mod list. It was much more clean than mine.

If your sticking to the stock turbo there's no point upgrading the intercooler. I would use that money towards EL headers. I would go with the ID 1050x injectors and not the Cobb.

It looks like I have some research to do. Why the ID 1050x's over the Cobb? I hear a lot of positives about ID, but think a bit of OCD kicks in when I mod and I like things a little too matchy lol.

This car is my DD at the moment, so I was trying to avoid too much stress on the block. My future hope is to garage it and turn it into a beast.

I have read a lot about headers cracking. Is this still an ongoing problem or have most of the issues associated around it been resolved? I was also planning to keep them UEL. I am worried that EL headers will ruin the boxer rumble.

ID allows for more headroom for E85 in the future and it's E85 safe. I'm pretty sure cobb is just rebadged injectors. Injector dynamics is about as reputable as it gets. Cobb makes good stuff but often overpriced.

My car is my daily driver as well and I'm trying to get my stock block to last as long as possible.

I think as long as you can something like tomei or GTspec and above quality wise you won't have to worry about it. As long as you don't wrap it or ceramic coat it, I don't think it's a problem. If you're really paranoid about cracking you can go for the killer B EL headers which is warrantied for life even if it's ceramic coated.

I was like you too, I wanted to keep my boxer rumble, but EL headers is better for the car by evening out temperatures in your cylinders, and you make more power. I honestly didn't notice or miss my boxer rumble afterwards.

I am still struggling with moving to EL. I spent some serious time listening to Vids and it makes me sad lol.

I was also thinking of meth instead of E35 and was talking to a buddy of mine and he though that would be better. E35 is difficult to come by in my area, so it wouldn't work for my driving style , but I haven't eliminated the option just yet.

Thoughts on Meth?

The reading I've done shows that it can trigger a limp mode if it fails

No experience with meth unfortunately. I run flex fuel cause there's a station less than 2 minutes from my house.
