Do you like fast corners or tight ones.

Both But I tend to like technical stuff a bit more. I found a few amazing roads in Orinda where the speed limit is 55 with really amazing long banked sweepers. I always get sketched out though. I mean if the road is rated at 55, then it wouldn't be that hard to go double that. I feel like it's one thing going 40 in a very technical, winding roads and a completely different situation when you get pulled over going 100 in a long sweeper.

ok flame suit on... I'm considering getting my car either vinyl wrapped or plasti dipped for the upcoming winter months. I will be doing many miles on the freeway and lots of skiing shortly and I want to protect the paint for a season. I can either wrap the car or dip it professionally at wholesale cost. I cant say the exact cost but let's just say for now that vinyl is under a grand and dip is under half a grand. The colors I'm considering are matte white, grey, blue, and maybeeee orange if I'm crazy (or on drugs).

Honestly I'm leaning towards plasti dip right now for the following reasons:
Super cheap
Only leaving it on for one season
Easy to repair rock chips (only requires a respray)
Does not damage clear coat like vinyl can
Easy to remove (compared to vinyl)
Easy to wash

Really the only downside I see is that it just has a negative stigma. Blah blah blah it comes out of a spray can. But really, how is it any worse than putting a giant sticker on your car for at least 8 months. I know I'm probably opening up a can of worms here, but just remember it's only for the winter season and I am doing it to protect the paint from many highway miles and winter conditions.

Curious what you guys think and what colors I should look into.

Get a plati-dip professional and have them spray the whole car. If you're precise, you can buy a big can and DIY.

Ya I've seen their videos. It was after seeing their work that I started considering plasti-dip. I also tried black dip on the front bumper ducts and was pretty impressed with the material and durability. I wonder if the stuff increases drag?

Increases drag? I think it adds weight.
