Hello everyone,
I could use some help on injector choices. I am debating between DW1300cc or the ID1000cc. I plan to run E85 in summer and 93 in winter.
I am worried that the 1300s will drive poorly on 93, but they wont max like the 1,000s. Any help would be appreciated as it nearing spring.

I'm running Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors and on E85 the duty cycles maxes out at 90%.

I didn't realize you had started a journal. Subscribed. I can't wait to see what the 3076R 0.63 A/R can do on a built engine with dual AVCS.

I can't speak to the DW1300's, but I have the DW1000's, and I didn't notice any difference in idle from stock.

I have to switch my photo hosting site as I have tons of pics but they are a pain to post. I am also deciding between the DW pump or the the dual walbro setup.

definately the DW300 pump or the new Aeromotive 340 pump over a duel walbro setup. Way easier to keep the stock configuration. I would Also agree with the 1000cc injectors.

The IDs seem to get rave reviews, any 1000cc or 1300cc DW recomendations? Also please include Why.
I spoke to DW about their pump and GRs and this is what they said.

"Hello Josh,

Installation of the DW301 will be similar to was is currently being done to fit a Walbro GSS342. There will be some trimming of the fuel canister required. For the MY07+ STi, the pump will come with a universal installation kit.

Let me know if you have any questions, the pump will be available through a few select dealers soon, and will be readily available in late February

"Hey Josh,

The MY08+ Subies have a fuel canister the pump is installed into. There are some parts of it that have to be trimmed and some orings are needed to make a seal on the outlet of the pump with the fuel canister. I know there are quite a few shops out there that are experience with this, and at this time I will have to defer installation or instructions to their expertise.

Where are you located, I will see if I can find a shop to recommend you to for questions or installation.

-Chris

Anyone install the DW pump yet?

if he is right in that it is similar to the walbro pump then thats good cause i know a lot of people have installed a walbro pump and there is a write-up for it.
