Thanks a lot.

I'm more into function over form, so that leads my mod path. I also like to take a lot of pictures of the mod process since installing the mods is half the fun to me.

So to get the fender vents off, you just pull from top to bottom?

And it looks like you didn't take them off all the way. Was that because you didn't want to take the side skirt off??

Yep, pull from top to bottom.

And you're correct. I didn't feel like popping out the side skirts (though it is very easy). Just leaning the vent out gives you ample room to remove the flap. Took about 15 seconds per side.

Turn the car to on and turn on the AC (but you don't have to start it). That will kick on the fans. Put your hands next to the vents and you'll feel air moving. Good enough for me.

Do you still have a bit of side to side play in your shifter when in higher gears? On mine I notice my shifter gets a bit looser each gear i go up. I was suprised but still love the new feel.

There is a very very small amount of side to side play. I investigated and it is within the transmission itself, so not much that can be done about it. I only noticed it because I was examining my install. It's so small I probably wouldn't have normally noticed.

Well shoot! if you can feel air (very little but its there!) without the car moving and the ac on, i wonder how well it works while going 65mph

My thoughts exactly. High pressure in the engine bay with low pressure behind the vent means it probably moves a decent amount. hillhucker's method of cutting new holes increases it, I'm sure. But the flap is a free and reversible mod.
