I'd be very interested in hearing what IAG has to say about this plumbing/tuning option

So I head up to IAG today since I had some free time to ask about the steering rack and EFR turbos etc

Most of the internal components are all blueprinted and prototyped, IAG just needs to have a reasonably priced manufacturer to cut the gears and they will shop around for one in December. Tentative release date will be sometime next spring/summer, it'll be worth the wait for sure.

As far as EFR turbos, this is the EFR 7064 TS

Even my current setup with the 35R and built heads puts down 382wtq 750rpms sooner than the EFR. HTA86 it is unless someone can dig up some dyno graphs of EFR turbos that impress me with spool and power

Default 08 STi: IAG Built Motor, IAG 35R, 272s, DD, Sitting in traffic...why? BECAUSE...

Anyway we can have your graph overlaid with that graph to compare?

Even with my stock motor with the GT35R, I made 300wtq at 3500rpms while the EFR 7064 Twin Scroll made it at 4000rpms

Garrett turbos have entrenched themselves in IAG's build philosophy since according to them nothing tops this company in reliability, spool, and power.

I only ask because every 7064 I have seen has been far better than what that shows.

Edit: Perrin even tested the EFR 7163 single scroll and it spooled as fast as the stock 08 STi turbo.

if it helps at all, below is my plot on IAGs dyno with the EFR 7064TS. i made around 500whp on the 7670 on 93+meth on a 90 something day. stock heads/valves/cams built block on both setups. IAG will handle the rest of the block sometime soon, i'm sure.

i know IAG is a big fan of the 35R and garret turbos, and rightfully so as their experience has been awesome and there's great support there. that being said, i wish the driving experience and transient response of the EFR could be plotted on that dyno chart because that is a distinction between my car with the EFR and the garret monsters i've driven. you also can't beat the jet-fighter boost spool
