Yes, I am also very happy with Motul Xcess. I have used it in my car ever since the rebuild. Last oil change I used Motul 300V. It is almost time for another change and it will be interesting to see if there is anything different in the analysis. I will probably go back to Xcess again as I am not sure the 300v’cost is justified for normal daily driving.

Two pieces all round? Then your talking Users Girodisc which are expensive. He commented on handling improvement in this thread when they were new. DBA offers front 2 piece for less money, but Girodiscs are very light not only because they are a two piece design. They must to be thinner too. I just replaced a set of DBAs that went over 100k. So, my front centers (whatever the correct name is) are on there second rotors. Still not issues. I believe there is a trade-off be made here - more $$$ and more performance and likely less life, or more standard part and less cost. I might have gone Girodisc, but at the time I purchased brake parts I thought I might need a transmission too and was just saving money. Turned out that was a second faulty ACT clutch

I do seem to remember 1, and only 1 thread where someone mentioned noise. - seemed like there was a real issue, not one normally encountered. Search Girodisc here?

ADDED: Yes I'd rather have Girodiscs
It was simon, in this thread:

Girodisc SS brake pads and 2 piece rotors initial impression

Its part of the reason I've been trying to gather up a broader consensus of opinions from several members regarding the girodisc rotors.

Not their 4.5l motor? Meh. Lol

Jokes aside, Cant wait to see what you have done to it.

Dundon is widely known as the best exhaust component vendor for P cars.

My aging Corsa exhaust with 95k miles on it needed to be changed out. I decided to get a 3" Milltek exhaust and I am very pleased with it! It is about 70% quieter than the Corsa exhaust and has zero drone. I'm really impressed that the Milltek was able to profoundly quiet down the car without restricting any airflow (still hitting 38psi and zero knock). The Milltek does accentuate the deeper, bassier tones of the car and makes it sound smooth and Euro-like, in contrast to the brash full-bodied sound of the Corsa. The car does spool a tiny bit faster with the straight-through design of the Milltek, maybe just placebo

Awesome! Sounds great. Who did you order through? I initially had a hard time getting ahold of one, and then I finally stumbled upon a vendor that had it to me within about a week

I am also very impressed by Milltek. Definitely seems to flow very nicely, we actually have had to work on boost control a bit on my car because of the killer B header and the Milltek. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I like the sound a lot. I personally think there's still a good amount of noise when you want to enjoy the full experience driving hard, but it's nice to also be able to creep past when it's preferable to keep a low profile.

It's been a long time since I've been taught such a profound real-world physics lesson. The way both the airflow and the sound waves interact when you change even one exhaust bit is really interesting. I considered driving into bridge pylons when I still had my SPT catback on with my header and downpipe combo.

I had the same experience going from the Q300 to Milltek. It was so much quieter I was in shock. Car also has a catted COBB DP and honestly at idle it’s like 10% louder than stock.

Might be my old age, but I like it. I do semi miss how loud the Q300/Catless Indivia DP sounded at WOT.
