What attachment did you use on your dremel for the "polishing?"

Thanks!

Those GD BBSs look freaking new. I think I might have to pick up a set myself for Tahoe as well. Are you going to daily these with the winter tires when the rain hits hard in the bay? Or will you mount them on when you drive up to Tahoe?

Thanks! Yeah, thats why i wanted silvers, the curb rash doesnt show up so bad like it does on goldies.
Its there though, the lips are far from prefect, i just used a grinding bit to smooth out the worst of it, try to blend the metal back to smooth without losing too much of the lip.
I'll only be using them when heading up to Tahoe. For the wet down here my brand new RE01-R's will have to do. They only have ~300 miles so far so have tons of tread left, should be safe enough.

I used the 512E attachment, the fine 320 grit finishing abrasive buff. comes in a pack of 2, i used 1 buff per rim.
Basically just covered the area with a mix of water & turtlewax polish compound, then attacked it with the dremel.
These 512 buffs are great, perfect size to clean right into the corners. Be careful tho, press too hard, or let the polish dry out and they can start to wear into the finish.

Yeah that is also my plan on doing when I get my winter setup. The weather conditions in the winter here in the bay dont require anything tread crazy.

Installed the Winter Rims today for a quick fit check & test. As expected the tires are squirmalicious when going round tight turns.
Fit is fine, no rubbing anywhere, but on the front left the wheel balance weights are really close to the caliper, i think i'll have the shop re-balance that wheel without taped weights, just for peace of mind...

Nice! I have GD BBS for my winter setup as well. The weights on mine are also SUPER close to the calipers. Nice looking setup!

Nice winter setup, those silver BBSs look great! Let us know how the WS70s are later on in winter. It was either these or the Michelin X-Ice Xi2s for me - I chose the Michelins and they'll be here in a week, but if I hear that these are better I'll get them next time around in a couple years.

Just collecting a few parts for the next round of changes. These will be installed along with the underbody brace kit, and a bigger FSB
