They are 18 x 9 et 35 w/ Advan Neova 265/35/18s.

How much fender clearance do you guys have with that size? If those 9" +35 wheels fit with 265s, I don't imagine that fitting 285s on a stock offset wheel would present a problem. This is good news!

It's a very aggressive fitment. The wheels stick out a bit, but we'll have our resident alignment wiz fix all that up once we get some coilovers.

I see, thanks for the info. I'm still trying to figure out what the max size that will fit on stock suspension for autocross.

I like what I see so far. Cant wait to be able to switch maps on the fly. My 08 feels like a dog compaired to my tuned 04. I am interested in the smoked overlays. On my gray car I think they will look great.

Hi Dan, have you had a chance to really drive on those yet? If so, can you comment on how they felt relative to the OEM Dunlops? If the price the Tire Rack has the SP 600 listed at is any indication, I'm guessing they aren't too competitive with the Advans.

just pick up some 18x8.5 +52mm RE30s or CE28Ns, slap on some 285/30/18 V710s and see what happens?

what's the worse that could happen?

That's exactly what I plan to do. The worst that could happen is that look like they clear once I put them on, then they get a nice gouge rubbed in them on my first autox run and I won't be able to return them.
