Attempted to install suspension on my GR and gave up half way through because I can't get that stupid bottom rear strut bolt off...... soaking it in pb blaster and trying again tomorrow. Any tips? Front went on with no issues

Hearing this stuff happen to people are why I'm slow to roll into an intersection after red, and still look both ways.

Sorry about your loss.

Changed the oil and filter for some fresh 5w30. Treated the rear diff to some fresh oil too.
Was going to do the transmission but the sump plug has been well rounded so I guess i'm going to be dropping the sump shortly.

Yesterday after work i decided to do a headlight restoration on my car. I used the 3M drill kit, some Meguiar's Plastic X, and i finished it all off with a coating of Meguiar's UV clear head light coating. This was my first time doing this job so i wanted to take my time. I spent about 2.5hrs total from start to finish. For this being a auto part store kit, it worked pretty well. After i did the compound and buffing step i saw that i did remove all the yellowing off my headlight but it still left them a bit cloudy. I applied some plastic X after and it helped clear it up. The real hero was the UV clear coat pray. I applied 2 coats of that as the last step and it left my headlights looking brand new again. SO if anyone is going to do this job make sure you get yourself some kind of UV protectant clear coat. It amazes me how much of a difference this makes while driving at night. I can actually see again Here is a before and after shot of the restoration.

That actually looks really good, would not expect that from an auto parts store kit.

The 3M kit was good for what it was considering the price. It removed the yellowing with a couple passes and some effort but the final results werent anything to write home about. The headlights by no means were clear or "like new" as these kits advertise. Like i said the plastic x helped a little bit but it still wasnt enough. The real mvp was the UV clear coat spay lol. $10 miracle in a can

I had the same experience with this kit.

Looks great in pics but they needs a bit higher grit and likely a UV clear to stay. Not holding my breath. It was definitely a lot more time than I had expected to invest.
