God damn it must suck to be a car enthusiast in California. Why does it matter what parts are under the hood as long as your car pollutes the same as a the other cars that pass a smog test? Stupid ass logic...

That would be awesome and is very unlikely to happen.. even if E85 is better for the environment.

An aftermarket company, like Cobb, could submit their flex fuel kit and a standardized tune for certification by CARB. It would make our lives easier as car enthusiasts in California, but there's no financial incentive for Cobb to obtain the certification. Easier to label parts as "Not for sale in California" or "for off-road use only" and make us figure out what to do comes smog time.
