Check out AnorexicSTI's thread, he's the local king of weight reduction.

Light weight drive shaft (aluminum or CF)

Strip out spare tire assembly, board, tools, carpet, etc. from trunk

Hollow swaybars

If you want to get extreme and money is no object there are CF parts for almost every body part available now for the MY04 & MY05 (doors, fenders, quarterpanels, etc...). Also, a built block with lighter pistons and rods makes a big difference - not in total weight, but even a fraction of a lb per piston or rod makes a big difference when those things are moving that much/fast (simliar to lighter flyweel and DS)...

You could always give my CF DS a test drive.. maybe just bolt it up to your car and go for a spin. Also, where did you get that battery tray? Is it light? The J-hooks are pretty tough to beat on weight...
