Intercooler is standing on its own power. Hardware is not final just what was laying around. There are two tabs on the bottom. We added tabs on top and bottom to maximize clearance under the grill and under the bumper.

Small update. Slowly but surely. I hope by the end of this upcoming weekend I can be done with the car and ship it off.

Bumper is close to fitting up. Had to trim the top black part out.

So as i mentioned, the spoiler clear is chipping. I'm not looking for a show quality finish right now, as I hope to wrap the car eventually. I did want to stop the clear from getting worse. I went to my local autobody paint supplier and got some rattle can 2k clear. Man that stuff smells even with a respirator. I'll grab another picture after it's more cured. My garage currently smells like fumes.

Because you have to use the 2k clear within 48 hrs of mixing, I decided to try it out on my headlights. My typical method has been the 50/50 mixture of poly and mineral spirits, which, seems to last for a good year or so before needing to be redone. I didnt want to waste the clear so i sanded off the old poly mixture and did 3 coats on each headlight (I know the final one is the opposite side but it's the same result).

The 2k sprays pretty nice. I have a little orange peel but i think that was from the first light coat as I was figuring out the spray nozzle/distance from the spoiler. Hopefully it lasts...if not, it was only $30.

I also put this on quick to see what else needed to get trimmed before finishing it up. Still have some at the top to do and the corners yet, but it's close to where I want it.

Pulled off the TMIC and stock air box. Found some oil in both sides. My buddy was a Subaru tech and said it's not uncommon to see that, but that doesn't make me feel much better.

Hello,

Please let us know if we can help you with anything along the way! This is a really nice example of a blobeye STI. Good work so-far! It does seem like the blow-by could possibly be contributing to the oil consumption. Give us a call or shoot an e-mail if we can assist.
