I have a confession to make. Last test at SMP I had a hard time getting the most out of the car. However, I believe I have a good understanding of what the car can do. The other thing to note is that the car has had 3 to 4 outings since hibernation and as much as I want to get 100% out of it, we need to be realistic. This is a heavy, under tired and powerful car. It is no longer a wound up ej207 and it not 1000kg dedicated track car either.

Do I need to re visit the GT3RS philosophy?
Possibly. In reality the car is a track car with no weekend usage foreseen. So I will review the philosophy but I would imagine the car to stay very close to WTAC Clubsprint class specifications.

WTAC 2018, I will not go there to lose. However, my definition of win or lose is slightly different. I will go there to win. Meaning, I will drive 100% of my ability. Hopefully the results are good enough.

I am told Clubsprint cars are getting out of hand and they are looking at ways to control it.

While I support the idea, I don't think this is the right way of doing it when we have pro drivers in clubsprint ad we have 750whp cars with motorsport gearboxes and composite body panels who run Club with no issues.

Hopefully they listen to me. If not, I am not changing my cooling system.

Really wished we had the "OTHER" one in. But oh well. Could have used the higher rpm too.

By the time I was out of the last corner that Braz was doing 300km/h at the end of straight.

Indeed.

Matter of days to the big day.

Hopefully the engine holds up.

Retuned on C85 as it enabled us to run 490whp on 22 pounds only. Its on conservative side mid range tq wise.

Transport booked on Wednesday.

Harrop engineering will support me while I am there and onr of my friends will be doing Davids job, coordinating things.

Last test was not ideal and I am not feeling confident. I will put all my cards on the table regardless.
