So the car went on dyno. Gen2 GTX3582 was few hundred rpm later to spool vs 7163 but it made plenty of boost, holding 25pounds from very low 4s to redline.

Numbers are secret for now but message me if you really have to know.

Bear in mind this is on element tuning 2.5l engine.

Will be at subinats next weekend. When the car is back will get a heart transplant.
I can not wait go see what the new engine can do.

Be fast, be safe and have fun at Subinats. Subaru drivers did well at Gridlife South.

Thank you my friend.

Very interested to see how the new aero and suspension as well as new turbo set up changes feel and of course another 100hp is nice.

I am still on old worn AD08Rs so have to be realistic and patient pace wise.

Below: final checks.

It was and is still very tempting to get semi slicks with the hope of being competitive.

However, my main goal is WTAC.
I have two sets of old AD08Rs which I will use over weekend.
Two new sets for WTAC.

I couldnt justify getting new tires for Subinats.

Yes would have been ideal but, too expensive. This year: I had a big crash and a big repair bill, new turbo kit, new engines and WTAC. Yes my awesome supporters have helped but all the above adds up money wise.

Thank you. Will be on my A game.

I was just thinking, since you need seat time to get comfortable with the car, it would make sense to run a fresh set of tires, ideally the same ones (Type) you will use for WTAC (AD08R) so you can get yourself set for your car and the tire you will use at WTAC.
Fully agree it doesn't make sense to run a expensive set of semi slicks now.

I get where you are coming from, was just wondering.
Stupid money

I guess I speak for all of us that we admire your dedication and push through every 'hickup'.
Fingers crossed that you'll have plenty of seat time to gain experience and data and move in the right direction, I'm sure you will!

Cheers Idin

Thanks mate.

Thats a nice complement.

I just finished scrutineering and, man I brought a knife to a gun fight. There are guys with more than two sets of tires for two days and here is me, doing my 9th competitive day on the AD08Rs. Haha

However, I am not here to win. I am here to test and gather data.
On Saturday Supashock suspension race engineer will be training me, hopefully making me a faster, better driver in the process.

Alright day 1.

Slow, pace wise but thats expected for the tires.
Hopefully tomorrow will have improvements on our last year wtac laptime.

Added power is awesome specially on the top end but Garrett turbos transient response is not even close to EFR. It spools quick but transient response is not even close.

So far, I think they are still behind EFR.
