So much win in the most recent post. Time to get a backup transmission ready.

Thank you.

We have already talked about this and we decided: Not to service it and not buying a second hand 6 speed either. Nurse it for now and get ready for a Modena dog box.

I vote for sequential lol, who wouldnt!

Get ready to drop some serious coin on the full setup though. There is a ton of ancillary equipment you need to run a sequential properly, depending on whether you go with paddles or direct. The ecu must be able to do fuel cut or have some i/o to decrease load on the gears during shifts. The best ecu I've seen do this reliably is a Motec, but I'm sure tuners have ways around this with their favorite brands.

Well, dog box can't be ready for 8 weeks even if ordered today.

So, we are going to nurse the current 6 speed and have a stand by one in case it goes boom.

Sequential lands me in classes where people are happy spending a million. And I am not haha. And I like things old school. So: dog box? Maybe next year.

In other news, P2P racing 2350cc of fury has left US for GIR shop.

We are preparing a set of heads for it: D25, full port, 1+ Ferrea comp plus valve train and dual valve springs, BC 280cams.

Why BC: It hasn't failed as mcuh as other famous brand. It has a smoother ramp rate and more duration vs other options.

Ps, still struggling with transport option.

I have also seen Syvvecs do a really good job with sequential gearboxes
