The TiC ones are similar to the 07 ones.

Snag some 07s if you're worried about being 100% legal.

basically the TiC brace. TiC just uses more material and is square tubing.

Got the coilovers back in Friday evening. Going to spend MLK day getting an alignment.

The regional annual awards ceremony was today. Ended up 10th overall in PAX for the year and winning SM class.

Well, it has been extremely cold here in Louisiana. My Oreilly autoparts battery wasn't cutting it despite being on a battery tender when sitting for long periods. I decided to take advantage of the dieing battery and go to something lighter. I didn't like how the wiring was sitting when mounting this battery horizontally. What ended up happening was a left over exhaust hanger and the OEM bracket. Not ideal, but it'll do for now until I get some longer wiring.

Got under the car today, since I thought the CV was going out. No tears on either boots, so maybe they are just going out despite having adequate grease.

Rewind to 2-3 months ago. I was putting the OEM struts in the car while the coils were being rebuilt. The LCA wouldn't extend low enough to allow me to install the stuts. After some swearing and pushing they actually lowered enough and I was able to install the strut. On the FR side, they whole axle pulled out of the trans when I lowered the control arm. I popped it back in using the hub, since the axle nut was still attached.

Ever since then at full right I have heard some popping. That's the only time I hear anything from the car.

Got the ol' P0457 CEL. I haven't been able to pump gas properly, the pump auto shuts off every gallon or so.

I'd ignore it if I could, but pumping gas 1 gallon at a time gets really old.
