Well the piping on AM headers is almost always larger than stock; I've read around and saw some people were having problems with overboost, among other issues, which isn't a stretch considering you're flowing more exhaust into something that's made for very specific parameters. I'm thinking that would be a "mechanical" issue that you can't really tune around. I'm just trying to sift through everything to determine what to do.

You're thinking like an NSOCer... Quit that. Headers are perfectly fine on the VF39. Lots of people run them, even in your local area.

Just because piping is bigger, doesn't mean you're flowing more.

I stand corrected, . Like I said, I was just reading and sifting through what people have said. And those thoughts were just speculative regarding what first came to find. Indeed, I have seen multiple posts of people running AM headers on stock turbos. By chance, who is doing it locally?

By the way, for anyone following, today I am completing the purchase of the Cusco Zero2R's and then will be putting them up for sale once I get them.

Ross has an ELH on his VF39. There are a few more, but I'm terrible with names.

Interesting, I'll have to talk to him as well about his too. Similar setups like the one I'm after have headers as well, but like you said a good PnP would be good too.

^Thanks! I'm sure we'll run into each other at some point!

If you've been to J-Birds, there's a chance you've met him... He owns it.

Well that's good to know

I'm also happy to report that Autometer gauges fit perfectly in the gauge pod I have. It's just too bad those Innovate ones need some work to make the fit. Their bezels are so damn thick, but the Autometer ones fit just right. Looks like I'll be going with those.

The WRXtra gauge pod was specifically bored out for the AutoMeter gauges. I got rid of mine because it would ONLY fit them. I like the hood that the ATI provides to block out the sun.
