Thx

Well there actually isn't any list ^^ the only thing you need is some type of anti-skid foamy/rubbery patch (most of these have an adhesive back) that you can get from any large store or DIY shop. I'm afraid i can't give you any exact location as to where to buy these because i live in belgium and know nothing about the stores in the US

The pictures pretty much explain the steps you need to follow.

You can use the rubber lining that is already inside the cupholder to draw the outline shape you need to cut of the rectangular patch of material.

I chose not to peel off the dhesive backing and just let it sit in the cupholder (makes it easy for vacuuming etc)

I'd be happy to help if you have more questions.

Might aswell use this post to wish all of the fellow subie drivers here happy holidays! Hope you guy's have lot's of fun and drive safe cheers.

Rim pinch, lucky the rim wasn't damaged, but the sidewall inside the tire is cut creating the bulge.

I was indeed fortunate that the rim wasn't bent/buckled. The tire on the other hand will certainly need replacing. Not quite happy about it because i'm short on cash and try to save up for maintenance/mod's rather than this type of costs

Anyway i tried to "revise" my thread a little but it seems i can only add a max of 8 attachments wich makes it kind of difficult stuffing all the mod's and stuff in one 1 post.

It's aslo difficult to make my thread a little more popular arround all these "big ballers" on the forum looks like i'm quite far away from all you guy's in terms of mod's,power, and money in general thus making my thread easily overlooked. I'll try and make it as nice as possible and hopefully pick up some more viewers on the way

Scratch that ... i've taken the rim to the dealership and get the whole car checked out to get a quote on the costs so i can give that to my insurance company. Turns out the rim is bent aswell

->MFW i saw it on the balancer. I only felt a small vibration in the wheel when driving it so i thought it could be the tire but never thought the rim was bent. The wheel was wobbling at each turn.

Anyway i'm forced to drive on my advan AD08's again but luckily the temps are almost always above 0C this winter.

I sure hope my ensurance company can work something out with the city's ensurance in order to get repair costs funded.

Default Re: Guardian-X-'s 06' STi --- bent wheel :(

About time to update here. The bent wheel is off the car and replaced with a a spare enkei rim i had lying arround (slightly darker color though) and has a brand new wintersport 3d on it. So i'm out of the woods for now and now i can only hope my insurance will be able to recover my money from the city.

In the meanwhile i couldn't help but buying some stuff yet again

-Chrome coated turn signal bulbs
-OMP high temp (800C) gold paint
-Brush to help clean arround my lugnuts
-Muffler to midpipe gasket
-Downpipe to turbo nuts

Here's a pic of the rear turn signal bulbs (oem vs aftermarket)

And my most awaited purchase been fooling arround with it and love it so far. When the weather gets better i really have to strat making some vid's.

Next up is swapping the front turn signal bulbs and do an oilchange to 0W40 castrol EDGE ( currently on 5W30 edge )

Thx it's not really as "big-baller" like most of you guys but i try to make the best out of it with a very limited budget.
