Have you called since getting the package back? One person in packaging who got fired earlier in the day could be trying to damage the companies reputation.

Not saying that's the case, but after seeing those photos I highly doubt anyone higher up in KW would appreciate their products being shipped that way.

Before bad mouthing them publicly I'd suggest trying to get replacements sent due to the poor service. If you burn the bridge you'll never see a penny.

I already don't expect a penny. In addition, if you read prior to the part where I get them back, it hasn't been a fun process.

It's never a fun process to feel like you're being thrown around, have you dealt with multiple people?

I'm trying to remember the name of the guy who helped me back in the day. It was a few years ago though so he's probably gone.

Best of luck

After sending in some pictures yesterday, the person I am talking with asked how I think they could make this right. I didn't think they'd do it, but they are sending me a brand new set of coilovers. I am happy about this, obviously, but I haven't received them yet and the set that started the issue was brand new. Hopefully this new set is good! I'm ready to drive this car!

Glad to hear you're getting a new set of coilovers. At least customer service came through after a while.

Glad they are replacing them. What an ordeal. Do you or anyone else here know how RCE would handle this with the t2's since they are re-valved/sprung kw v3's?

Default Re: yamahaSHO - KW is sending a brand new set of coilovers.

I have a buddy who just received his coilovers from RCE (with KW struts) and the brake line bracket was bent)...

The down side to the new coilovers - They are out of stock at the KW USA HQ and are waiting for a big shipment from Germany. It'll be two weeks before I have them. I was worried about being down for a month and now I have already passed that point.

I do believe their CS got better after they were shown the pictures. Initially I felt like they were treating me as a random person who buys parts and slaps them on their car and knew nothing about what I was talking about. Mid-point, it seemed like they just wanted them in to check them and tell me there was nothing wrong, and after the shipping issue and providing pictures, the service got to be what I really hoped. The guy I am dealing with now has been very helpful and I know wasn't involved in the testing/rebuilding/shipping. He was told that the struts tested fine, but I don't think they told him everything as they rebuilt new struts and now both struts rebound as they should.

Hopefully, these new, new ones are "all good".
