Even so,

there are plenty of threads on nazioc where a shop has messed up the install, and not being accountable for it, even though they supposedly always do aquamist's.

I trust mine more because I did the install myself. The instructions for the Coolingmist kit are pretty good as well. I dont know if I agree with meth kits being the number one killer of Subaru engines tho...

Another option is installing the kit yourself and having the shop you get your tune at double check your work. They have to look over your car before it gets on the dyno anyway.

Now since I answered your question I get -1 infraction point right lol.
How bout this: I'll go install it myself, if it goes ok, you have a deal. If I blow my engine, you get another infraction....

Yeah, but it's not like they are looking for mistakes. I'd just get the kit installed at the same shop that it tuning the car.

But its so simple! IMO there is just as much risk installing a fuel pump.

All you need to do is:

-mount tank and pump in the trunk.
-put the flow sensor, filter, ect in the line
-run the meth line from the pump to the engine bay
-tap the intercooler and screw the injector in then hook up the meth line
-rout the wires from the pump, flow sensor, ect along the SAME path as your meth line into the cabin and hook them up to the controller.

i think the meth kits aren't necessarily hard to install, but you're not a good wiring/electronics guy then don't touch it.

True. You have to make quite a few wire connections. I bought A big box of 14-20AWG cimp connectors and went through a good chunk of them (I think it was a box of 75).

Alright man its your call.

Here's what Im talking about tho:

That red tube. You take one wire and stick it in one end then crimp (smash) it then you do the same with the other wire on the other end.
