Hate cleaning the gold rims. Decided when they get too dirty looking I'll repaint them

A lot of guys are painting their stockers and they look good. I want something lighter, besides two of my BBSs are curbed pretty badly and all of them are brake-dust stained.

I had resigned myself to keeping the stock rear rotors since it looks like a no go on The Brake Man rears, but since I'll be needing new rear rotors soon enough I popped for a set of these:

Girodisc

Another forum member was able to work out a small deal on these and let me in on it. Will save 7 lbs - w00t! Not a lot but it's all part of the plan .

Edit: these will eliminate 14 lbs total - 7 lbs per rotor - big difference.

I finally found the wheels I want. I love these. One problem - they were discontinued over a year ago. They are both a little heavier and more expensive than I was originally looking for, but its still fairly light at roughly 16 lbs/wheel. I've found a set, new, for about $100/wheel less than they went for a couple years ago. I'm in contact with place that has them and really hope this works out.

Well guys they only had one set , 17x8.5 5x114.3 +34 in British Black and they want $470/wheel. Clap has already told me these won't work without fender mods and my car is lower than stock on my T0 coilovers. I was eyeing it up and I think I'll definitely rub with those wheels and I don't want to jack up the ride height again to try and avoid it nor do I want to do fender mods - body work ain't my bag .

If one of you guys is definitely interested in those, I can get you the contact...but I'm still mentally debating it because I really want 'em .

Think he meant $100 LESS per wheel than 2 years ago and not $100/wheel

Too heavy. If I went with Enkei I'd just get RPF1s. Besides, I may be able to get a set of GC-05s in 18x8 that'd still weigh a shade less than the RP03s.

Yes, $2K for the set shipped. If I could get all 4 for $400 they'd be in my garage already and I'd be banging away at the fenders .

I don't like the way my car feels with too much neg rear camber, even at the factory settings. When I installed my coilovers I initially had some slight positive rear camber which made the car feel very responsive, I really liked it, but it looked stupid so I set it back some. When I decide to spring for a good camber/caster gauge I'm going to try the rear camber at 0 which of course means no aggressive offset wheels .
