Default 2007 STI with 78k miles

I been searching for awhile now and found one with 78k miles. While that averages to around 6k a year, is this an issue with these kind of miles. I know it’s hard to find a lower mile one. My question is will this need a lot of upcoming maintenance? The car is one owner, all stock, clean car fax. Thank you for your input.

All these questions can probably be answered by the owner them self if you have access to who they still are (given this is a private sale). It all depends on how well the owner kept up with the car and the kind of maintenance they did on it. With that said the only high dollar maintenance that you have coming up is timing belt/water pump/valve cover gasket.

Sorry to say, but in my experience, BWAHAAHHA.

The car is 12 years old. Do all of the maintenance items listed for up to 120K miles because a lot of those are aging out and not just mileage related. And then expect radiator/tanks, hoses, PS pump soon, so IMO do them at the same time, cheaper while it's apart. And then follow that within a couple of years by the head gaskets. My 06 was a similarly low mileage car, with the notable exception that it was autocrossed so was guaranteed to have been beaten on for five to ten minutes per month.

And at 110K then it cracked two piston lands, meaning the head gasket money from the previous year was pissed away. And no, it's not significantly boosted.

Just my bad news. But you might be luckier! P
