what is an average tune run over there???

i would aslo never buy anything other than gaskets from a shop either, everything is from an online vendor, i know y'all have the other thread about who is a good vendor when it comes to shipping and stuff

any good engine builders out there??? im sure there are, if anything i would have an engine built in the states then shipped but i also only say that because i dont know the shipping involded
It's not the shipping that gets you, it's the freight cost for big items. When I was still in TX, it was going to cost 400 + shipping just for my stock hood within TX!!...now imagine shipping it overseas I'll let the other guys chime in about the tuners, you already know my deal.

Who needs someone else to turn their wrench?? Do it yourself!! There are self shops like Sprocket on Ft. Hood that will teach you how to do things. Hell, the shop here had welding/adv welding classes, autobody and paint/adv, I just HAD to be in the damn field for all those classes though bahhhh I could have brought my air compressor, jack, jackstands here cuz the house I liked out with has my own driveway, front/back yard and outside storage. Most "houses" here are apt. style with only a balcony, even if they're on the first floor lol

I am in Grafenwoehr Germany and you can find cars for as low as a few hundred dollars if you look in the right place. Like others have said you can still mod you just have be patient about shipping. Also single guys don't get a garage to work in, so you have to go to the auto skills center if you want a garage.
