Default Engine fuse box question

This isn’t performance or ECU tubing related, but I couldn’t find a better place to post it. I bought a set of OLM foglight/sequential blinker lights from subispeed for my 2019 STI. The kit comes with 2 “add a circuits” pigtailed to one and requires the use of both the hi and low beam light circuits to function as a true DRL (turn off when the e-brake is in use). Personally I hate seeing wires and using the add a circuit pigtail just looks like crap to me. My question is, if I were to cut off the fuse portion of the pig tails and wire it on the under side of the fuse box then connect it to an empty fuse slot to tie in the new DRLs and put a 10A fuse in that slot to complete the circuit would it work? Essentially it’s the same thing as using the add a circuit pigtails just not in the conventional manner and would make the install look OEM.
