Thumbs up ET Tuning Union MO

I have been going to Jon at ET for about 2 years now doing work to my '05 STi. They are very professional and they do good work. I am running 381whp on stock block on an e85 tune. I think this may be the only place in the St. Louis area that has an AWD dyno as well. I would recommend ET to anyone. I have been running 19-24 psi on an already high mileage STi motor for about 35k miles now and still no problems at 117k.

Anyone else have opinions on tuning near Kansas City?

I actually live in Wichita and looking for a tuner. I lived in Colorado for a while and had great experiences with Harvey and Nick @ MAC. I have a buddy who got a shitty tune from Chad @ Modified by KC. He literally googled "How to tune a Subaru" infront of him. That definitely scares me.

I'm not sure about options in KC. This place is about an hour from STL, still a long trek from KC. Ask the guys on the KCSubaru forum i'm sure they will know if there is a good tuner out there.

Glad you had a good experience with them. This was mine:

Beware! ET Tuning, Union, MO

there is a new (?) tuner in Chesterfield that I'm probably going to try called Franjo Speed. Still trying to find out more info on them.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. Not sure how I would deal with that. I saw Franjo on Amsoil’s dealer list so I went to their site and what do you know they have an AWD dyno. Their shop looks extremely clean and well organized. That is usually an indicator of a shop that pays attention to details. I would be a little hesitant to use them to tune my v8 ej207 but am curious to see if you have done anything with them. I plan on e-tuniing and going there to see the results on their dyno. FYI, I have had good luck with Ecotech in St. Louis. I had them do my 207 swap and they did a great job. I do most of my own work but don’t have the room to do anything too big. I’m extremely anal retentive and have an emotional attachment to the 02 WRX that I bought new and still own to this day. I don’t like letting others work on it but I wouldn’t hesitate to take it to echotech. Misha is a great guy and an absolute Subaru nut.

Please let me know how your experience with Franjo was if you gave them a shot. I’m going to give them a visit tomorrow to check out their shop and purchade some power foam if they have it.

I haven't gone to Franjospeed yet. I've been trying to track down an electrical problem I've been having. I want to get that fixed before I get it on the dyno. I'll let you know when I go there, but it sounds like Ecotech might be a good choice too.
